DAY 1. Karyes to Astros (55 km)
Our adventure begins with a private transfer from Athens to the slopes of Mount Parnonas, one of the most beautiful mountain regions of the Peloponnese. We start cycling from a traditional stone village surrounded by forests and mountain scenery, far away from the busy tourist routes.
Today's route takes us through quiet roads, picturesque villages, historic monasteries and breathtaking viewpoints overlooking the Argolic Gulf. As we descend from the mountains, the landscape changes dramatically from pine-covered hills to olive groves and fertile valleys.
Along the way, we stop for a relaxed lunch featuring local flavors and regional specialties before continuing our ride toward the coast.
Our destination is Paralio Astros, a charming seaside town with crystal-clear waters and a relaxed atmosphere. There will be time for a refreshing swim in the Argolic Gulf before we continue by private transfer to Nafplio.
We arrive at our carefully selected hotel around 17:30. Often described as the most beautiful town in Greece, Nafplio was the country's first modern capital and is famous for its Venetian architecture, elegant squares and seaside promenade. The evening is yours to explore its charming old town and vibrant waterfront.
DAY 2. Ancient Mycenae & the Argolis Countryside (54 km)
After breakfast, we take a short transfer into the heart of the Argolis countryside, where today's ride begins.
Cycling through endless olive groves, orange orchards and peaceful rural landscapes, we experience a side of Greece that few visitors ever see. Quiet roads and traditional farming villages accompany us as we make our way toward one of the most important archaeological sites in Europe.
Our main stop today is Mycenae, the legendary kingdom of Agamemnon and one of the greatest centers of the Bronze Age world. Walking through the famous Lion Gate and exploring the ancient citadel offers a fascinating glimpse into a civilization that flourished more than 3,000 years ago.
Following our visit, we enjoy lunch at a traditional local taverna before continuing our ride through the rolling countryside.
The afternoon cycling is relaxed and scenic, with vineyards, citrus groves and open landscapes accompanying us back toward Nafplio.
We return to our hotel in the late afternoon, leaving the evening free to wander the picturesque alleys, enjoy a seaside dinner or simply relax.
DAY 3. Epidavros, Pottery & Coastal Cycling (60 km)
Today's ride starts directly from our hotel as we leave Nafplio behind and head east toward the coast.
The route follows quiet country roads and beautiful rural landscapes before reaching a local pottery workshop. Pottery has been part of Greek culture for thousands of years, and during this hands-on experience, you'll have the opportunity to learn about traditional techniques and create your own small piece.
We then continue toward Ancient Epidavros, home to one of the best-preserved ancient theatres in the world. Built in the 4th century BC, the theatre is renowned for its extraordinary acoustics and remains one of the greatest masterpieces of classical Greek architecture.
After a light lunch, the ride continues along some of the most beautiful coastal roads of the eastern Peloponnese. Spectacular sea views, hidden coves and crystal-clear waters accompany us throughout the afternoon.
Before reaching Tolo, we stop at one of the region's most beautiful beaches for a refreshing swim and some time to relax.
From Tolo, a short private transfer brings us back to Nafplio for our final evening in town.
DAY 4. From Scenic Coastlines to Medieval Wine Cellars (50km)
Today we explore Nemea, Greece's most important wine-producing region and home of the famous Agiorgitiko grape variety.
After a short transfer, we begin cycling through rolling vineyards, fertile valleys and peaceful country roads surrounded by mountains. The region combines beautiful scenery with a rich history dating back to ancient times, when athletic games were held here in honor of Zeus.
Along the route, we stop to discover local flavors and enjoy a carefully selected wine-tasting experience. Learn about the traditions of Greek winemaking while sampling some of the finest wines produced in the Peloponnese.
The ride continues through picturesque countryside before gradually descending toward the Gulf of Corinth.
Our destination is Loutraki, one of Greece's most famous seaside resort towns, known for its natural springs, waterfront promenade and relaxed atmosphere.
Upon arrival, we check into our handpicked seaside hotel where comfort, hospitality and beautiful sea views await. The rest of the afternoon is yours to relax and enjoy the coastal setting.
DAY 5. Perachora Peninsula & Lake Vouliagmeni (45Km)
Our final cycling day takes us into one of the hidden gems of the Corinthia region.
Starting from our hotel, we ride a scenic loop through the Perachora Peninsula, an area known for its forests, dramatic coastal scenery and peaceful roads. The route combines beautiful sea views with stretches of pine forest and quiet countryside, offering some of the most enjoyable riding of the week.
One of the highlights of the day is Lake Vouliagmeni, a stunning lagoon connected to the sea by a narrow channel. Surrounded by natural beauty, it provides the perfect setting for a relaxing break and memorable photographs.
As we continue cycling, we pass traditional villages, hidden beaches and spectacular viewpoints overlooking the Corinthian Gulf.
Returning to our hotel in the afternoon, around 16:00, there is time to relax before our farewell celebration.
This evening, we gather for our final dinner together. Good food, local wine and shared memories from six unforgettable days on the road provide the perfect ending to our cycling adventure.
DAY 6. Acrocorinth & Return to Athens
Although the cycling has come to an end, there is still one final chapter to our journey.
On our way back to Athens, we stop at Acrocorinth, one of the largest and most impressive medieval fortresses in Greece. Perched high above the ancient city of Corinth, the fortress offers spectacular views across the Peloponnese and has been occupied continuously since antiquity by Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Franks, Venetians and Ottomans.
After exploring the fortress and learning about its fascinating history, we continue to one of Greece's most iconic engineering landmarks: the Corinth Canal. Carved through solid rock in the 19th century, the canal connects the Aegean and Ionian Seas and remains an impressive sight today.
Following our visit, we continue to Athens where we will drop you off at your hotel.
The adventure may be ending, but the memories, friendships and experiences of the Peloponnese will stay with you long after the journey home.
