General Terms and Conditions Cycling Holidays
Booking and Payment
- Booking Process: You will receive a detailed offer for the trip, which must be signed and returned to us via email, signifying your acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined. Your booking will be confirmed upon receipt of payment of €500 per person. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to the trip’s departure.
- Confirmation: Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive an email with the details of your tour. Please review the information carefully and contact us immediately if there are any discrepancies. A reminder and instructions for making the final payment via bank deposit will be provided.
- Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards, debit cards and bank transfers
- Customer-Initiated Changes: Any changes to your booking must be requested at least 30 days before the tour date. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but changes are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellations made more than 60 days before the tour will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made between 59 and 49 days before the tour will receive a 70% refund.
- Cancellations made between 48 and 31 days before the tour will receive a 40% refund.
- Cancellations between 30 days and the tour start date are non-refundable.

-Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 30 days of receiving your cancellation notice.
– Athens by Bike assumes no responsibility for any personal expenses incurred by participants (such as air tickets, train tickets, etc.) and will not issue refunds for such expenses.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unexpected events that may necessitate cancellation.
Liability
- Assumption of Risk: By participating in our bike tours, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with cycling and outdoor activities.
- Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, [Your Company Name] is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in our tours.
Insurance
We strongly recommend that all participants have adequate travel and health insurance to cover any unexpected events or emergencies that may occur during the tour.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece. Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Greece.
