Join in and let us show you the places we love to eat & drink!
Our tasteful journey starts from the city center, passing by several must-see attractions. As we cycle around Acropolis hill, we will have the chance to get great views and pictures of Parthenon, the monumental structure of Athens.
Having the privilege of riding an electric bike, we will get out of the city center, follow a safe bike path and explore urban neighbourhoods that most tourists can hardly find on their own. At our first stop, we will try the traditional Greek coffee at a beautiful coffee shop. Our second stop is at a traditional local pastry workshop, where we can check out how the popular bougatsa pie is made from the best pastry chefs and taste it in any variation, from savoury to sweet!
Heading back to the city center, we arrive at the vibrant neighbourhood of Monastiraki, to get introduced to “souvlaki”, the king of street food in Greece, a delicious wrap with fresh ingredients and good quality meat.
Last but not least, the very well known to most people, Greek taverna!
You will feel like a local, enjoying the laid back atmosphere and chatting casually with the rest of the group. It’s time to try the best Greek mousaka accompanied by the iconic Greek apéritif, ouzo and for desert the traditional “kaimaki” ice cream, special flavours that will stick to your mind.
By the end of the tour, you will have seen a very interesting part of the city and you will get an overall idea about the passion that Greeks have for food!

Whenever we’re visiting a new city we always do a bike tour and a food tour! While browsing through the website of Athens by bike, we saw that they are offering a bike and food tour, so without hesitation, we went on and booked it! It was simply amazing! Not only did we get to ride around Athens and explore it on their great bikes, but also we made plenty of stops to eat and drink local delicacies! Our food expert/ tour leader was fun and engaging and he knew all the cool spots for nice photos! Great experience, would definitely recommend it!
Bikes in great shape, safe route, awesome local food choices, fun ride! If you are visiting Athens and you want to do a food tour, I would highly recommend this one! You’ll realise that cycling(at a slow pace) is actually easier than walking when your stomach is full with great Greek food! The tour leader was great and kept the whole group entertained during the ride and the stops! I think I’m spoiled now and I’ll go for a bike and food tour in any city I’m going to visit in the future!
It was my second time in Athens and I only had one day before going to Santorini. I wanted to do a bike tour because last time I only did a bus tour and I wanted to “feel” Athens a bit more. When I walked in the shop to book it, I saw the option of the bike and food tour and I chose that as I’m a bit of a foodie! Fun tour, good quality bikes and great experience overall! Our tour leader knew all the places to go for Greek food and really enjoy every little bite! Best Greek salad I’ve ever tried! Next year when I’m coming back with my family, I’m doing it again!
This tour was the highlight of our trip in Athens! The food and drinks that we had were awesome! Our tour leader kept us safe during the ride and made sure to stop at the best locations for photos! Great bikes in great condition and the route was away from traffic, which, before starting the tour, seemed quite hard to accomplish. Would recommend this one to anyone who knows how to ride a bike and loves to try local things! Make sure you go there hungry, they’ll take good care of you!
