We had an amazing tour together with Kostas. Athens by Bike is a small company very passionate about bike riding. They are also supporting the local bike community. Kostas delivered an impressive tour of the city comprising all important objectives to see. During the path we stopped for a nice mastic Ice cream and a sip of cold refreshing water. We took the tour at noon since it was the only possible period for us, but Kostas scheduled the trip so well that we didn’t feel the afternoon heat. The view of the city from their secret spot was spectacular, while the National Gardens were shady and beautiful. Our next stop was Santorini, so Kostas also provided a lot of useful tips for the island as well. All in all it’s a perfect experience!
My partner and I enjoyed the perfect introduction to Athens on a private bike tour of the city with Julio. The whole experience from start to finish was enjoyable. The team at the store were very helpful and made sure we had the perfect bike and our guide Julio was great fun and super personable, making our tour exactly what we had hoped for. The route that we took avoided cycling on roads (with the exception of dismounting to briefly cross 2 roads), there was minimal gradient to climb at times but brief and manageable for a 53 year old with a dubious knee. As we cycled around the city we stopped at all the places of interest and Julio made sure we took the best photos. Julio also made great suggestions for places that we might eat or drink whilst in Athens. By taking this tour we had a great time and felt informed about what Athens has to offer. Great tour, great company, fantastic tour leader, I would recommend this to everyone!
We enjoyed the private tour for four of us on e-bikes through Athens. Danae was wonderful and she provided a lot of ideas on how to spend our time in the city. The e-bikes worked well and helped our group stay together in spite of varying fitness levels. With the size of the crowds in Athens, riding in a small group was safe and enjoyable. This was definitely one of the highlights of our Athens visit: our children (between 10 and 16) enjoyed every minute of it: besides the light movement, the tour covered in a few hours some hidden treasures of the city. Dimos was a perfect tour leader on so many dimensions: besides the carefully chosen path (and the perfect mastery of Italian, our language) he was able to involve and build a strong relation with all the kids, making this experience a memorable one. Needless to say, the tour is absolutely secure from a traffic perspective, at no point we felt exposed to any kind of risk.
