Then, it’s time to check out the presidential mansion and watch the presidential guards in action. Next, is the Panathenaic stadium, the official stadium of the first modern Olympic Games. Afterwards, you get a glimpse of the beautiful neoclassical building Zappeion to move on and take stunning photos of Hadrian’s arch, right across the monumental temple of Olympian Zeus.
The tour continues on one of the most beautiful car-free zones of the city, riding by the Acropolis of Athens and the new Acropolis museum. I really appreciated the tour. I felt safe the whole time and I had lots of fun! The e-bikes are in great condition and perfect for the inclines in the area. Our tour leader was able to lead us through nice areas without any traffic! I chose this tour because I wanted to explore Athens during the golden hour and it was great! Going by bicycle you really cover a large area in the given time. I can highly recommend this tour!
E-bikes were great, we did a trip around Athens seeing the changing of the guards, taking photos of all the sights and everything as it changed colours with the lights. It was great to get a sense of the city and I would recommend doing this early on in your holiday as they share a lot of tips about how to really enjoy Athens! Good quality electric bikes to cope with the hills and a great tour leader to make the experience fun! Great activity, fun and interesting.
Dimitris was super fun, and took us to some great places I’d never know to go to otherwise. The electric bikes are great, and most of the time are barely needed because of the nice and easy route they’ve designed for the tour. It also helped me get a good idea of what was where, and it came in handy later!
We had Dimitri as our tour leader and he was awesome! He was very caring and ensured that we took routes that were off busy streets. He also took us to some secret spots that we would’ve never been able to find ourselves. The recommendations that were sent via email after the tour were great and we ended up eating at a few of the places and exploring the neighborhoods that were wonderful!
